It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Andres "Andy" Pando Carrasco, a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, Papa, and friend. Andy was born on December 21, 1949, in Manuel Benavides, Mexico, to Pablo Pando and Guadalupe Anaya. He departed this life on April 7, 2025, in Odessa, Texas, at the age of 75.

Andy was a proud Mexican American who dedicated over 50 years of his life to his career as a foreman at Holloman Corporation in the oil and gas industry. His strong work ethic and commitment to his profession earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and peers. Andy took great pride in his appearance, always dressing impeccably and showcasing his distinctive jewelry with style. He was well-known and admired in the community, forging many friendships and capturing the hearts of those around him.

Beyond his professional achievements, Andres was a gifted horseman. He not only trained horses but also served as a jockey, embodying the spirit and vigor of the cowboy way of life that he so loved. His charismatic personality and zest for life left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him.

Andy is survived by his 3 children, Veronica Nava and husband Job of Caldwell, ID., Monica Mora and husband Sergio of Ogden, UT., and Andres "Andy" Pando Jr. of Ogden, UT., his mother, Guadalupe Anaya of Juarez, MX., brothers, Adolfo Pando of Juarez, MX., Arnaldo Pando of Kermit, TX., and Jose Luis Anaya of El Paso, TX., sisters, Maria Del Pilar Ceron of Mexico City, MX., and Blanca Mendoza and husband Jose of Juarez, MX., 5 grandchildren, Bianca Stevenson, Jacob Nava, Ezequiel Mora, Nissi Mora, and Jehdeiah Martinez, and 3 great grandchildren, Kynzlee Stevenson, Bexlee Stevenson, and Isaac Mora. His legacy will continue to live on in their hearts and the memories shared with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Pablo Pando, sister, Elisama Garcia, and brother, Gildardo Pando.

Andres Pando Carrasco will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who cherished him.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at 10:00AM, Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Kermit Funeral Home Chapel with Monica Pando Mora officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, April 11, 2025 from 4:00PM-9:00PM at Kermit Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the personal care of Kermit Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
